Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent patient service and phone etiquette.
- Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth, ensuring optimal clinic flow.
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and other providers.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Previous clinic or medical office experience is highly desirable.
