Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction while effectively managing inquiries related to our food service offerings.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Handle customer orders efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system for processing transactions.
- Assist in upselling and promoting special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining area.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the food service environment.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales experience, particularly in upselling products or services, is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills to help address customer needs efficiently.
