Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Execute food preparation tasks efficiently to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Follow safety standards in production, including proper food handling and knife skills
- Ensure all food products are stored correctly, rotated properly, and meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures
- Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques and food preparation
- Skilled in knife techniques, slicing methods, and general food industry practices
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
