Geddis Paving & Exc., Inc. is a rapidly growing road construction company and is looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic that wants to grow with us! Geddis offers an entire fleet of paving, excavating, and utility installation equipment for major commercial, industrial, and public projects at the municipal, state, and federal levels. We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and high-energy individual to fill a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position.
Responsibilities include: inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain a large fleet of dump trucks, excavation, paving, crushing, and other heavy equipment. Work is directed by our equipment manager. Occasionally, traveling to the job site to perform inspection and repair is necessary. Must be able to clearly document equipment inspection and repair reports. Good communication skills are necessary for you to be successful in this position.
Geddis Paving & Exc., Inc. has been building roads and sites in the Toledo area for over 80 years. We are excited to add a new mechanic to the Geddis team!
Salary will be based on experience. Hours of operation can vary, but are normally a 6am-4pm, M-F.
