We are seeking an experienced Lead Driver/Crew Leader to join our professional moving team. This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing crews, ensuring excellent customer service, and completing military and international household goods moves safely and efficiently.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Overtime available
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot commercial box truck
- Lead a crew of up to 6 movers
- Complete military and international household goods moves
- Take detailed inventories of household goods
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure moves are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
- Train and mentor crew members when needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Valid California Driver License (REAL ID required)
- No DUI convictions
- No felony convictions
- Must be eligible to access and work on U.S. military bases (background screening required)
- Minimum 2 years of professional moving experience (military or international household goods experience strongly preferred)
- Experience driving a 26-foot commercial box truck
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to complete inventories and paperwork accurately
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Full-time availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work
Preferred Experience
- Military household goods (HHG) moving
- International household goods moving
- Crew leadership or supervisory experience
