Overview
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes and uphold the highest safety standards in production environments. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks such as reach trucks, lift trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and clamp trucks to load and unload shipments with precision.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual counting to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks using equipment like pallet jacks and <PERSON> pickers to meet shipping deadlines.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage or dispatch.
- Follow OSHA safety standards in production environments by adhering to forklift safety protocols and manual handling procedures.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing materials efficiently, managing heavy lifting tasks, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling machinery.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and logistics procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling guidelines.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry tasks.
- Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.

Pay: $24.74 - $29.79 per hour
