Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the efficient, cost-effective, and ethical development and management of company projects. This position is responsible for ensuring projects meet customer satisfaction, profitability, quality, and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, organizational, and construction management skills, with experience in commercial and/or public works electrical construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects at various stages of construction.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and direct project activities to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
- Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic jobsite observations to monitor compliance.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and project scopes.
- Procure materials and coordinate project needs.
- Supervise and mentor professional staff.
- Manage project priorities, workloads, schedules, and budgets.
- Communicate with owners, contractors, personnel, and design professionals to resolve project issues.
- Address delays, claims, and change orders.
- Develop repeat business with existing clients and establish new client relationships.
- Study job specifications and determine appropriate construction methods.
- Maintain high standards of accountability, integrity, quality, and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 5–10+ years of progressively responsible experience in commercial and/or public works electrical construction.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must adhere to the Company’s Alcohol and Drug-Free Policy.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction specifications, drawings, schedules, and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in project takeoffs.
- Strong understanding of customer and company objectives.
- General PC proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Project, Accubid, and COINS.
- Ability to analyze complex business information and develop strategic recommendations and solutions.
- Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, contractors, and professionals at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and facilitate positive change.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and business environments.
- Ability to access all areas of construction sites in varying climates and environments.
Physical Demands
The employee must be able to regularly talk and hear and frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle objects, and reach with hands and arms. The position occasionally requires sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
The employee must frequently lift and move up to 5 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
Travel Requirements
The primary work location will be the company’s home office in Chatsworth, California, with travel to construction jobsites as needed.
Estimated travel: 10%.
Work Environment
The employee will work in an office setting as well as at active construction jobsites. Jobsite conditions may include exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and varying or extreme weather conditions.
Noise levels in the office and at construction jobsites may be loud.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
