Job Overview
The Village Grill has been established in the Chester area for over two decades. Known as the hometown grill, it is one of the go to favorites from breakfast to lunch. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a server. This position is part time with an expected average of 20-25 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Process payments using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Complete necessary side work
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills
- Previous server/customer service experience a plus
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing a plus
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks safely and efficiently
- Strong upselling skills to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales
- Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
