What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Monitor patients during procedures, including conscious sedation and post-procedure recovery.
- Record and assist with various cardiology procedures, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations as part of the assigned team.
- Support floating between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab units as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and patient care standards.
What You Need
- Valid RN license for Louisiana or ability to obtain.
- BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
- Ability to perform conscious sedation and monitor procedures.
- Flexibility to support on-call duties, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, documentation, and emergency response.
