About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused OTR Box Truck Driver to join our team as an independent contractor.
Drivers will transport general freight throughout the Midwest and East Coast while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, compliance, on-time service, and professional customer service.
Driver Requirements:
- Previous commercial truck driving experience required
- Clean driving record required
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be FMCSA compliant and follow all applicable federal and state regulations
- Must know how to properly operate and use ELDs
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Must be able to complete daily vehicle and trailer walk-around inspections
- Must know how to check engine oil and basic fluid levels
- Must be experienced using moving blankets, load straps, and pallet jacks
- Ability and willingness to stay on the road for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Professional attitude and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safe freight handling
- Ability to follow company policies, DOT requirements, and applicable transportation regulations
Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL box truck
- Transport freight throughout the Midwest and East Coast
- Properly use and maintain ELD records in accordance with applicable regulations
- Follow all applicable FMCSA, federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Perform daily walk-around inspections and check oil levels
- Properly secure freight using straps, moving blankets, and other load-securing equipment
- Safely load and unload freight using a pallet jack when required
- Protect customer freight from damage during transportation
- Maintain accurate BOLs, logs, delivery paperwork, and required documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and mechanical issues
- Immediately report vehicle, trailer, freight, or safety issues
- Complete deliveries safely, professionally, and on schedule
- Maintain a clean and professional truck and work environment
Compensation:
20% of Gross Load Revenue
- Drivers are paid 20% of the total gross revenue of the loads they haul
- Paid weekly
- First settlement is held 2 weeks in arrears (2 weeks in the hole)
- Bonus opportunities available for drivers who complete 4 consecutive weeks on the road
- Consistent freight opportunities available
Driver-Responsible Expenses:
As an independent contractor, the driver is responsible for their own personal expenses while on the road, including:
- Food and meals
- Sleeping arrangements and lodging
- Personal toiletries and other personal expenses
- Any other personal expenses not specifically covered by the company
Drivers are responsible for planning and arranging their own sleeping accommodations while operating OTR.
Schedule:
3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
Drivers have the option to stay on the road for approximately 3 consecutive weeks followed by 1 week home, providing a predictable schedule for drivers who prefer extended home time.

Compliance & Safety:
Safety and compliance are non-negotiable.
All contractors are expected to:
- Maintain a clean and acceptable driving record
- Pass required drug screening
- Remain FMCSA compliant
- Follow all applicable federal and state regulations
- Properly use ELDs and maintain required records
- Perform required vehicle inspections
- Properly secure and protect all freight
- Immediately report safety, equipment, or maintenance concerns
Failure to follow applicable laws, regulations, or company safety requirements may result in removal from the position.
