Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher/Coach/Instructor to join our educational team. This role is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering a positive learning environment and guiding students in both academic and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to student development, ensuring that each learner achieves their full potential.
Duties
- Deliver small-group classes and one-on-one tutoring sessions in AI and robotics, strictly following the curriculum, teaching system, and training requirements provided by headquarters.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, maintaining a respectful, safe, and productive environment.
- Provide competition team coaching, including organizing training sessions aligned with the seasonal competition theme, under the guidance of headquarters, and upholding the Student-Centered principle.
- Guide and support students in preparing for and participating in competitions.
- Facilitate community STEM outreach activities to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Conduct adult education sessions as required, promoting lifelong learning opportunities.
- Maintain the lab space in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Communicate with parents after classes to provide updates, feedback, and suggestions for further learning.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities that promote teamwork, leadership, creativity, and personal development.
- Be willing to travel on short trips as arranged by the company.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching, ideally in STEM/robotics/AI education.
- Ability to follow structured curricula and training guidelines with consistency and quality.
- Experience working with students of different ages in small group and one-on-one settings.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach students in robotics competitions or related team-based projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for STEM and AI education, and interest in participating in community outreach.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for competitions, training, or events.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement in STEM/AI teaching practices.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
