Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Inventory & Materials Support Specialist to help an engineering and maintenance team organize, label, track, and relocate parts and materials throughout the facility and at a local remote storage location.
This is a 2½-month project and would be a great opportunity for someone who is organized, self-directed, comfortable using a computer, and enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities

Organize, label, and relocate parts, equipment, and materials
*
Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems
*
Perform inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies
*
Safely move materials between storage and work areas
*
Help organize and maintain clean, accessible storage areas
*
Travel to a local remote storage location as needed
*
Communicate with different departments to identify and verify materials
*
Follow all safety and material-handling procedures
*
Assist with other inventory and materials tasks as needed
Requirements
*
High school diploma or equivalent
*
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
*
Good verbal and written communication skills
*
Strong computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets, and email
*
Able to work independently and stay on task
*
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
*
Comfortable working in both warehouse and office environments
*
Valid driver's license required
*
Must pass a DMV/driving record check
*
Must have a reliable personal vehicle
*
Must have full-coverage insurance on personal vehicle
*
Must be willing to travel to the remote storage location when needed
*
Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
*
Must be comfortable with this being a temporary 2½-month project

Transportation
The position may require travel to a local remote storage location using the employee's personal vehicle. Mileage will be paid according to company procedures.
When a leased or rented truck is being used to transport parts, the employee may ride along and assist with the materials.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on temporary position supporting an engineering and maintenance group. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while helping wherever needed.
This is a 2½-month temporary project.
