Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and supplies.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently while ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas like lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and laundry rooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe workplace for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, upholstery cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping operations and standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
- Prior custodial or industrial cleaning experience is advantageous; experience in housekeeping management is a bonus.
