Position Summary
Hosts play a key role in the overall guest experience, from the first greeting to supporting service throughout the shift. This position requires strong communication, awareness of the floor, and a willingness to stay engaged. Hosts help keep the restaurant running smoothly by supporting seating flow, service pace, and guest needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
- Manage waitlists and seating flow efficiently
- Bus and reset tables to maintain a clean, welcoming dining room
- Assist with running food when needed
- Support to-go orders and guest pickup
- Communicate clearly with servers and managers to support smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Stay proactive during slower periods by preparing the floor for the next rush
- Follow all company policies and service standards
