Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own residences. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient and resident care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, noting changes in health status or behavior to inform care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including specialized diets for dementia, Alzheimer's, MS or other medical conditions.
- maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings while ensuring client safety during travel and transfers.
- Document care activities thoroughly and communicate regularly with clients’ families or healthcare providers to ensure coordinated support.Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an In Home Caregiver or in related roles such as assisted living or nursing home environments.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication management, and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with care plans development and implementation tailored to individual needs.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional training in hospice care or home health services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage compassionately with clients and their families while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
- Visit days are Thursdays and Fridays.
Pay: $18.00 - $18.85 per hour
