Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation.
- Process retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, seating areas, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks in accordance with health regulations.
- Serve beverages and food items promptly while providing friendly and attentive customer service.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Barista experience or beverage service expertise is highly desirable.
