Welfare for Animals Guild (WAG), a nonprofit animal welfare organization, is seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant to the Ranch Manager to contribule to daily ranch operations and provide hands-on animal care. This role focuses on dog care, facility management, and support to other team members in a rescue ranch environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, humane care for dogs and people
- Monitor dog health, behavior, and well-being; report concerns to the Ranch Operations Manager
- Feed, groom, exercise, crate, and handle dogs as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, rooms, yards, and overall facility
- Control barking and assist with dog movement and enrichment
- Greet visitors and volunteers and provide assistance as needed
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
