Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of household tasks and ensuring the home is welcoming and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the home.
- Room Preparation: Ensure that all rooms are tidy and organized, including making beds, replacing linens, and arranging personal items neatly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock household supplies and inform the employer of any shortages or needs for replacement.
- Waste Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas, adhering to waste management protocols.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the employer.
- Errands: Occasionally run household errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning as needed.
- Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special household projects as required.
Qualification
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within a home environment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Environment: This role involves working in various conditions and requires the use of cleaning chemicals.
