Print Production Project Manager
Location: Carlsbad, CA (In-Office)
Hudson Printing is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Print Production Project Manager (PPM) to coordinate projects from order entry through final delivery. You'll be the primary link between our sales team, production departments, and customers—ensuring every job is accurate, on schedule, and produced to Hudson's quality standards.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, solves problems quickly, and enjoys keeping multiple projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications with sales representatives
- Enter jobs into our production system accurately and completely
- Coordinate with prepress, digital, large format, finishing, and specialty departments
- Review proofs for accuracy before sending to customers
- Manage the proof approval process and communicate updates to clients
- Monitor projects throughout production to ensure quality, deadlines, and specifications are met
- Perform final quality checks prior to delivery
- Coordinate shipping, delivery, and customer pickups
- Resolve production issues quickly and keep projects on track
- Help improve workflow, communication, and production efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in print project management, production coordination, customer service, or a related print industry role
- Working knowledge of commercial print production processes
- Ability to read and understand print-ready files
- Familiarity with paper stocks, finishing methods, and large format materials
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred (Not Required)
- Graphic design experience or proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
