Duties
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance software systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different applications and services.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy software solutions efficiently using CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git.
- Develop front-end components utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express to enhance user experience across web applications.
- Architect system components with design patterns that promote scalability, security (including RBAC), and maintainability within cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
- Implement microservices architecture for modular system development, ensuring optimal performance and ease of updates.
- Conduct system design reviews focusing on scalability, security, and performance optimization for cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Write comprehensive documentation for APIs, system architecture, and development processes to ensure clarity across teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to continuously improve development workflows while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in IT infrastructure management.
- Hands-on expertise with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and C.
- Solid understanding of web development technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React), Express.js, HTML/CSS, and RESTful API design principles.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, design patterns, version control systems (GitHub, SVN), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL Server for application data storage solutions.
- Ability to implement security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) within complex systems.
- Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies for iterative development cycles.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
