This role is designed for a proactive professional who prefers spending time on the production floor to actively drive safety enhancements, rather than working primarily from an office setting.
Core Responsibilities

Create and execute comprehensive safety protocols and operational procedures for the facility

Maintain strict adherence to OSHA regulations and all relevant industry safety standards

Proactively survey the manufacturing area to detect potential hazards and execute necessary safety improvements

Perform routine risk evaluations, equipment checks, and safety audits

Analyze the root causes of workplace incidents, injuries, and near-miss events

Design and facilitate practical safety workshops for all production staff

Organize and manage all safety-related logs, incident documentation, and training files

Facilitate and oversee monthly meetings for the Safety Committee
Professional Qualifications

Minimum of three years of safety management experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

Comprehensive understanding of OSHA compliance and regulatory requirements

Proven track record in the creation and deployment of safety policies

Practical experience performing hazard identification and facility-wide safety inspections

Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively train and motivate the workforce
