Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to provide a fresh and inviting atmosphere for guests
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all surfaces pristine
- Handle janitorial duties such as waste removal, restocking supplies, and deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or needed
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas to uphold hotel standards
- Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively for carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and other specialized tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and janitorial supplies
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards for guest service excellence is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
