Cherry Creek Academy (CCA) is an academically rigorous public charter school serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade. CCA utilizes the Core Knowledge© curriculum and values academic achievement, character development, and community service.
We are looking for an exceptional person to fulfill the role of recess/lunch supervisor. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
Essential Functions:
- Set up the field and/or lunchroom with materials and equipment for students
- Monitor students during their lunch both inside the lunchroom and outside on the playground
- Supervise a cohort group of students in grades K - 8 during their lunch and outside during their recess time.
- Intervene in student conflicts and apply appropriate disciplinary procedures as needed
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all students
- An ability to work well with others and be part of a team
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding student behavior or needs
- Model appropriate behavior and social skills for students
Compensation:
Base pay starts at $18/hour; negotiable based on qualifications
Monday - Friday 10: 30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
