Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with questions
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Submit prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Assist with medical billing and insurance claims
- Collect copays and patient balances
- Process referrals and medical records requests
- Scan, fax, and upload documents into the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate with pharmacies, imaging centers, and referring physician offices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help keep the office organized and running efficiently
- Perform general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- No experience required – we will train the right candidate
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Korean-speaking preferred
- Medical office experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or medical billing is a plus
- Experience with EMR systems is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
