Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Duties
- Operate and drive 53' DryVans.
- Ensure the safe unloading of cargo/ tailgating and driver assist loads.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours [ELD's in all power units], vehicle inspections, and cargo details as required by law.
- Customer-Facing Communication skills needed. Driver will frequently need to communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules potential delays and on-site interactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while promoting a culture of safety on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with operating various types and models of tractor-trailers.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, preventative maintenance and safety protocols.
- Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
