We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required.
