Title: Sales and Customer Service Associate
Job Description: The Sales and Customer Service Associate delivers exceptional, world-class customer service to all retail customers, while promoting products and other services to meet their needs. The Associate expertly advises our customers by providing information on our wide array of products confidently while assisting them with their needs accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. The individual must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn quickly and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine customer needs, and how to exceed their expectations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through customer engagement and quality product delivery.
- Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers.
- Identify customer needs and offer additional services which could benefit them.
- Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
- Process all sales transactions completely and accurately in Point of Sale system.
- Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
- Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages, accessing shipment manifesting software, and generating labels. May require retrieving packages from customer's vehicle when requested.
- Assist in merchandising the store, including stocking shelves with product, ensuring clean and orderly appearance of product, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies.
- Perform end of day duties: reconciliation of cash, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Operate copiers, fax machines, and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Help customers operate office machines located in retail area.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months to one year of prior customer service is preferred but not required.
- Must be of a professional demeanor, ability to take constructive criticism in order grow and learn, be detail and results-oriented; capability to take directions effectively, work well with others, adapt to changing priorities and be able to work independently with little supervision.

- Must be able to communicate clearly to in person, over the telephone and via e-mail.
- Experience in Microsoft Office software applications. Experience in using POS (point of sale system) is a plus.
- The work environment is an onsite, physical, and often a fast-paced, environment. This position may be required to work outside the 8:30am - 6:30pm since the shift schedules vary between the hours of 8:15am and 6:45pm.
- Must be able to regularly handle packages between 25-35 lbs, and lift 50 plus lbs on occasion.

Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
