Overview
This role supports the daily rhythm of a coffee shop/small batch bakery: welcoming guests, preparing drinks, baking, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, moves confidently between tasks, and values both hospitality and craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Bakery — Stock pastries, support morning bake flow, label and rotate product, inventory
- Front of House Service — Greet guests, manage the pastry case, run the register, handle Square POS, maintain a warm and efficient customer flow.
- Kitchen Support — Portion, par, assemble simple menu items, assist with daily prep, maintain food safety standards.
- Cleanliness & Organization — Dishes, counters, equipment, restocking, opening/closing duties.
- Team Communication — Coordinate with bakers and FOH staff to keep service smooth.
Qualifications
- Experience in café, bakery, or food service preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods
- Comfort with basic kitchen tasks and food handling
- Strong communication and hospitality instincts
- Morning availability strongly preferred
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
