Duties:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in substations
- Conduct inspections and tests on substation equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in substations
- Assist with the construction of new substations
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in substations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Skills:
- Proficient in high voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of blueprint reading for electrical installations
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems
- Experience operating bucket trucks for elevated work
- Ability to climb structures and work at heights
- Field service experience in substation maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for handling heavy equipment
