Ro Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with previous experience in behavioral health who has a passion for working with pediatrics for the 2026-2027 school year.

Positions Available:
Full-time (1)
- Monday - Friday
- Follow school schedule (no holidays or weekends)
- Shift times: 6:45am - 4:30pm
- Work with 1:1 student
- The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in a dynamic school environment. They should be confident providing medical care while also understanding that behavioral support, consistency, communication, and relationship-building are important parts of working with students with complex medical and behavioral needs.
- Comfortable working with students who may display challenging behaviors, including aggression, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, or difficulty with transitions.
- Target Start Date: ASAP
- Must be willing to travel at least 30 minutes
Responsibilities May Include:
- Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
- Assist with de-escalation and behavioral support within the nurse's scope of practice and school/district protocols.
- Previous pediatric, school nursing, behavioral health, special education, or medically complex experience preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging or high-stress situations.
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Provide 1:1 care for students
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40-60 pounds)

Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 2 years nursing experience
- Pediatric experience (Highly Preferred)
- Tracheostomy experience (Highly Preferred)
- Active, Arizona nursing license (Required)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
- Valid TB Test (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification - no online courses accepted! (Required)
- Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!
- Physical Demands: This position requires employees to use their hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee will occasionally lift/move up to 40-60 pounds.
