Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot printer and copier hardware issues using detailed schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration to optimize equipment performance
- Repair or replace mechanical components, electronic boards, and computer hardware parts using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Assist with software troubleshooting related to device drivers, firmware updates, and network connectivity issues
- Conduct field service visits at client locations to resolve on-site technical problems promptly
- Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify root causes of malfunctions
- Collaborate with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) support teams for complex repairs or warranty claims
Requirements
- No experience necessary. Will train the right person.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in computer hardware and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- IT knowledge is a plus but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to field service challenges
This job has a total of 32.5 hours a week. Pay increase after 90 days.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
