Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; first-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) considered
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in schools or working with pediatric populations preferred
- SLP-Assistants may be considered if specifically noted
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both Spanish and English, fostering language development
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
- Serve one or more school locations within Northwestern Illinois, with specific placement details finalized prior to start
