This presents a variety of verticals for an eager intern to grow into if hired fulltime. This job listing is to lead a specific project. We are reverse-engineering failing products from lighting control systems (mostly relay panels and user interface keypads) . Here is what this would look like:
- Reverse engineer control protocol of RS485
- Engineer similar or replicate PCB leveraging control protocol
- Create CAD designs conforming with DFM to CNC/Laser
- Build IP based platform for keypad communications to phase out RS485/Serial
- GCode/CAM Skills for production of replacement/upgraded component

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
