Launch IX Sports Performance is a 22,000-square-foot training facility designed to become Northern California’s premier destination for baseball, softball, golf, and rotational athlete development.
Built around a whole-person, long-term athletic development philosophy, Launch IX combines exceptional coaching with industry-leading technology and strong partnerships throughout the baseball and golf communities.
Backed by nearly $2 million in investments in facilities and equipment, Launch IX provides coaches with an opportunity to work with motivated athletes, collaborate with other professionals, and help shape a growing organization from the ground up.

Performance Technology
Coaches will have access to:

Technology supports the coaching process, but it does not replace it. We believe relationships, communication, and sound principles remain the foundation of great coaching.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coach one-on-one performance sessions
- Lead small-group training sessions
- Lead team performance sessions
- Design individualized programs based on athlete goals and training age
- Conduct movement and performance assessments
- Develop speed, strength, power, mobility, and movement quality
- Educate athletes and parents on long-term athletic development principles
- Collaborate with coaches, instructors, and partner organizations
- Contribute to programming initiatives and operational projects
- Maintain a professional and organized training environment
- Pursue continued education and professional development
Compensation & Growth
Launch IX utilizes a multi-level coaching system designed to reward education, experience, leadership, and impact.
Typical Annual Earnings
While compensation depends on schedule, production, and responsibilities, many full-time coaches can expect annual earnings in the range of $ 70,000 to $120,000+, with additional upside for senior coaches and those who assume leadership, group, and team training responsibilities.
Additional Compensation Opportunities: Personal Training
Hourly base pay plus session commission for all completed one-on-one sessions.
Small Group Training
Coaches earn an additional $5 per athlete for compensation purposes, capped at five athletes, allowing for up to $25/hour above base pay.
Team Training
An additional $10/hour above base pay.
Administrative Hours
Management-approved non-session work paid at base hourly rate.
Starting Base Pay
Level I Coach — $25/hour
Level II Coach — $27.50/hour
Level III Coach — $30/hour
Senior and Master-level coaches are compensated accordingly.
Continuing Education
Annual continuing education reimbursement provided.

Advancement is earned and based on demonstrated competency, continuing education, leadership, professionalism, initiative, and contribution to athlete experience and company culture.
Exceptional Level I candidates and highly experienced Level IV, Level V, and Master Coaches are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two years of coaching or personal training experience
- Nationally recognized certification (CSCS, NSCA, NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)
- Experience coaching one-on-one clients and/or teams
- Strong communication skills
- Professionalism and accountability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field
- Competitive athletic background
- Experience working with baseball, softball, golf, or rotational athletes
- Experience in private-sector, collegiate, or team performance settings
- Familiarity with TrackMan, VALD, Blast Motion, Proteus, Rapsodo, or similar technologies
- Speed development and strength and conditioning experience
