The Life Crisis Center is hiring a full-time Sexual Assault Prevention Coordinator.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing educational presentations on healthy relationships and IPV prevention.
- Incorporating discussion of consent, communication, and boundary-setting.
- Increasing campus-based prevention programming, including peer accountability and safe intervention strategies.
- Delivering Bringing in the Bystander training to Greek Life and Athletics, and conducting bystander intervention training in community settings as appropriate.
- Implementing awareness campaigns reinforcing prevention messaging and bystander responsibility while actively seeking new opportunities to provide creative prevention solutions in the community.
- Engaging student leaders and prevention chairs as peer influencers and collaborating with university staff.
- Sharing prevention messaging through outreach events and trainings, engaging attendees, networking with other organizations, and confidently representing Life Crisis Center in the community.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Travel to local colleges and universities (Salisbury University, UMES, Wor-Wic Community College), as well as other sites throughout the tri-county area.
- Hours will vary based on activities, trainings, presentations, and community events.
- Candidates must possess strong communication, organizational, and writing skills and have the ability to work independently.
- Reporting grant statistics and outcomes, including pre- and post-measure reports, is a required responsibility.
- Attendance at local, regional, and national meetings, conferences, and trainings as required by the grant.
- This is not a work-from-home position.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Knowledge of campus and Greek life is beneficial but not required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
