JOB DESCRIPTION:
KP Machine Technician is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. Within this role, there are a variety of roles and responsibilities.
While performing the duties of KP Machine Technician, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the operation of all Chub Line Equipment, including set-up and tear down.
- Anticipate product changes and requirements in a timely manner, minimizing downtime (such as ensuring film and labeling changes.)
- Conduct and document required verifications to ensure proper equipment performance, such as gas content and dome checks at required intervals.
- Must effectively anticipate product changes and requirements in a timely manner, minimizing downtime.
- Follow LOTO procedures and other Pitman Farms safety regulations at all times.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks at required intervals, and other duties as assigned by plant management.
Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift - 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM
*NOTE: Hours might vary depending on production needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Basic computer skills
- Basic Math skills
