Lab Technician — A-Next Batteries, Inc.
A-Next Batteries (ANB) is developing battery technology for the stationary energy storage market and we're looking for a Lab Technician to support our R&D team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Position Details
- Full-time, 40 hrs/week
- Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hr (DOE)
- On-site
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and store laboratory chemicals and materials
- Maintain lab inventory and order supplies as needed
- Help implement and follow safety protocols and procedures
- Keep accurate, organized records of experiments and lab activities
- Collect, organize, and interpret experimental data
- Communicate findings clearly with team members and management
- Work independently on assigned tasks while coordinating with the broader team
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with laboratory chemicals and equipment (prior lab experience preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping habits
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Team player with good communication skills
- Eager to learn new techniques and able to clearly explain what they've learned
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, materials science, or related) preferred
