Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead our pharmacy operations. The PIC will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and providing top-tier patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA requirements.
- Oversee and manage pharmacy staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain accurate prescription records and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and risk management procedures.
- Participate in the credentialing process to obtain necessary insurance contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the local community.
- Provide guidance on medication therapy management and patient counseling.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist, with prior PIC experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
