Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine and safe.
- Support housekeeping staff with replenishing supplies, changing linens, and restocking amenities as needed.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, surface disinfection, and detailed cleaning of bathrooms and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Support hotel operations by responding promptly to guest requests for additional towels, toiletries, or assistance with room setup.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising custodial teams is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
