Responsibilities
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide prompt, friendly in-person customer service throughout their breakfast experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring food presentation meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food stations, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food handling, including portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet or menu items as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and other small appliances
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while providing excellent customer service during checkout
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or setting up serving stations
- Handle weight-based tasks like portion control or ingredient measurement with precision
- Collaborate with team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable, especially in breakfast or buffet settings
- Fine dining experience or catering background will be considered an asset for delivering elevated guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and handling practices within the food industry is essential
- Experience operating POS systems and processing cash transactions accurately is preferred
- Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus for enhancing guest offerings
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
