Our facility stocks and processes a wide variety of paperboard. We specialize in precision sheeting and cutting, converting large rolls and sheets into custom sizes to meet our customers' needs.

The Position
We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator to join our production team. The primary responsibility of this position will be operating and assisting with our paperboard sheeting and guillotine cutting equipment.
Experience operating a sheeter, guillotine/paper cutter, slitter, bindery equipment, or similar industrial machinery is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right mechanically inclined candidate who is dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate paperboard sheeting and guillotine cutting equipment
- Read production orders and accurately set machines to required dimensions
- Load and handle rolls, sheets, and finished paperboard
- Monitor production and finished material for quality and accuracy
- Measure finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed during production
- Package, label, and prepare finished material for shipment
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow established safety procedures when operating equipment
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working around industrial machinery
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
- Proficient with fractional math (division / multiplication)
- Able to read a tape measure and work accurately with dimensions
- Able to work independently once trained
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Previous sheeter, paper cutter, guillotine cutter, slitter, bindery, printing, converting, or machine-operation experience is a plus

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
