The Cashier / Expo Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking accurate orders, handling transactions, and ensuring all food orders are prepared and delivered correctly. This role plays a key part in maintaining a fast-paced, organized, and positive restaurant environment and includes constant multi-tasking. THIS ROLE REQUIRES NIGHT TIME AVAILABILITY TYPICALLY FROM 5PM-12AM, INCLUDING WEEKENDS!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take in-person and phone orders accurately using the POS system
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
Includes Expo Station Duties:
- Coordinate and assemble orders from the kitchen
- Ensure all items are correct, complete, and meet quality standards
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to manage order flow
- Package orders neatly for dine-in, takeout, and delivery
- Double-check orders before handing them to customers or drivers
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and multitask
Preferred Experience:
- Previous restaurant or cashier experience (not required but helpful)
