ACHIEVE Human Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced individual to join our team in the Employment Specialist role:
Under the general supervision of the Employment Services Manager, the Employment Specialist is responsible for coordinating and providing services to clients necessary to accommodate disabilities and obtain employment in the community; obtaining services from other community agencies for clients; providing job placement, post-employment, and follow-up services.

ACHIEVE is a Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) who continues to serve Individuals seeking employment training and career opportunities. Our Agency is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has been in existence for over 50 years, predominantly focusing on services in Rural AZ. We currently offer a vast range of services in the Yuma area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in outreach efforts within the community to establish relationships and partnerships with community partners for on-the-job training and placement opportunities
- Facilitate interview skills training, resume building, and other aspects of employment for referred clients
- Locate meaningful employment for clients in the community
- Other jobs/duties as required by Employment Services Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Three (3) years working with individuals with disabilities
- Three (3) years working in Vocational Rehabilitation
- Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid Certifications for Article 9, Prevention & Support, CPR/First Aid, and Abuse & Neglect or must be acquired within 60-days of employment
