Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team on Thursdays (9-4) & Fridays (9-12) with the option for more hours on Friday. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, providing exceptional care to clients while promoting relaxation and pain relief. This role requires a dedication to patient service and a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client goals.
- Perform various types of massage, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, stretching, prenatal, and other modalities as needed.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on pain management techniques.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients in accordance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the client experience and encourage repeat visits.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy.
- Proficient in patient service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy and its application in treatment plans.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform deep tissue massage effectively while ensuring client comfort.
