The Southern Vermont Arts Center is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member. Must be able to work well independently, be self motivated and self sufficient. Professional cleaning background a must. There are three separate buildings on the SVAC campus that need to be cleaned on a rotating basis. Candidate must be able to climb multiple stairs and carry supplies throughout the buildings.
General duties include:
-General cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, mopping)
-Bathroom disinfecting
-Post-event cleanup as needed
-Coordinate cleaning schedule with event and facilities staff
-Order, stock & maintain all housekeeping supplies
At least 4-5 days/week with some flexibility. Friday or Saturday morning cleaning is required to prepare the galleries for weekend visitors. Cleaning can be done during the following hours:
Monday & Tuesday: 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. (SVAC is closed to the public)
Wednesday - Sunday: Completed before 10 a.m.
