Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation.
- Lead a crew in executing construction projects with precision and efficiency.
- Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and oversee irrigation installation and repairs to ensure healthy landscapes.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools.
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground cover to ensure proper care and maintenance.
- Oversee crew management tasks such as scheduling, training new team members, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety regulations and company standards while maintaining high-quality results.
Skills
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping.
- Strong supervising and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a crew effectively.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscaping techniques.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and company vehicles safely in outdoor environments.
- Familiarity with irrigation management, hardscape installation, and outdoor construction projects.
- Excellent leadership abilities combined with outdoor work experience in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of grounds maintenance.
