Job Overview
Our team is looking for valets to specifically staff the Arbor Venues for parking services (valet parking and lot monitoring). The three locations are Arbor Midtown, Arbor Loft, and Arbor at the Port. Midtown and Loft are located on East Main St and East Ave in Rochester (2 mins away from each other) and Port is located in Greece.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with parking their vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner, ensuring the protection of all vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parking and working area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management associated with every location to coordinate parking and event operations efficiently.
- Assist with valet parking duties as needed, including driving vehicles to designated areas without incurring parking penalties (if placed on a public road)
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols while operating vehicles within the premises.
- Maintain necessary lots by flagging, logging license plates into our parking apps, or routinely checking on vehicles
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a friendly demeanor at all times.
- Maintain appearance upholding uniform requirements and dress standards.
- Must be able to work at least once a week on Arbor event dates (calendars are given out a month at a time)
- Stamina is required and jogging is expected to and from every vehicle.
- A personal vehicle is required to ensure adequate arrivals or relocation during dual events.
- Must have Friday-Sunday availability (Sundays on occasion) (other weekdays are offered on occasion)
As vendors of the Arbor Venues, we are looking to specifically staff the three locations on a weekly basis with reliable and trustworthy individuals. Arbor Venues are high-end event spaces that require professionalism and enthusiasm. We are looking for long-term employment for those who have extra time in their schedules.
Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
