Non - CDL Class C Driver - Overnight

Precision Glass Industries is hiring one experienced Non-CDL class C driver for overnight deliveries to Denton, Tx. & Louisiana. More territories may open up in the future! Typical hours are 1 AM - 1 PM. Monday - Friday. This position will average around 60 hours per week.
You will be driving a Straight truck 28ft Box truck delivering glass secured. Standard nights consist of 2-3 warehouse deliveries and pickups. Deliveries are tracked through our GPS software.
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods from our factory in Houston overnight to Denton, Tx - you are home every day.
- Pickup deployed company property from our customers jobsites and shops.
- Ability to follow a set schedule and avoid delays
- Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations involving operation and inspection of the vehicle and trailer. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedure
- Collect and verify delivery slips
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Requirements
- Valid Class C license with no restrictions
- At least 3 year experience driving. Medium duty straight trucks.
- Ability to drive long hours
- Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent violations
