Duties
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections of building systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, electrical wiring, plumbing, and structural components.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, filters, thermostats, compressors, and electrical parts with precision.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by supporting installation tasks and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data.
- Lead or collaborate with team members during complex repair projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical equipment.
- Ability to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction practices is a plus for supporting installation or renovation projects.
- Any automation systems experience is a plus.
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
