Job Description Summary:
The Senior Manager, Financial Applications provides high-level and hands-on leadership to oversee and unify the enterprise's financial application ecosystems, acting as the primary driver for the global NetSuite OneWorld strategy. The purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of critical financial workflows—including Accounts Receivable, Order to Cash cycles, Accounts Payable, and tax processes. By working directly with Accounting leadership, this role develops scalable NetSuite solutions and intelligent workflows that actively support the ongoing operational and regulatory needs of
the finance department.
Your Role:
NetSuite Administration & Strategy: Lead the vision, strategy, and hands-on administration of the NetSuite platform, ensuring user enablement and adaptation.
Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead a high-performing team of Modernizers, oversee third-party bundle management, drive vendor evaluation, and direct managed service providers.
Ensure cohesive operation and global process improvement of Order to Cash cycles, financial applications, advanced billing tools, and tax systems.
Accounting Team Collaboration: Work directly with the Corporate Controller and Accounting leadership to translate complex workflows into scalable NetSuite solutions.
Financial Intelligence & Data DomainLeadership: Drive the evolution from transactional systems to intelligence-driven operations using SuiteQL, SuiteAnalytics, and strong database reporting skills.
External System Integrations: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all external system integrations to NetSuite utilizing middleware like Boomi.
Skills & Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Computer Science, Accounting,Information Systems, or a related field.
12–15+ years of progressive experience in financial applications and business technology.
5+ years of experience leading complex system optimizations and process improvement initiatives.
5+ years of experience managing technical teams and external managed service providers.
Strong foundational understanding of Accounting Principles.
Proven hands-on experience in global management, administration, and support for NetSuite OneWorld.
